Please Check This Page for the Latest Info. each week. Rather than e-mail all of the players, we will have the newest info. up here by Sunday night before our Monday night games. On Monday nights, we will also put up "rain out" notices as soon as we have them. (Unfortunately, this is usually not available before 6:00 p.m.). |
Click on the link below to be taken to that info. (The latest links are always at the top. Check the dates, as there may well be more than one per week.) Test Drive Day 16 November, 2002 Disciplinary Reminder 22 April, 2002 Rules & Policy Changes 15 April, 2002

Paso Adult Soccer Club Monday, 15 April 2002 1. Requirements for Playing a. Pay before you play. If you have a “special need”, you need to work this out BEFORE you play. b. Wear the jersey that you received when you registered. IF you forget yours and borrow another one, please notify the referee of the number change for that game. You CANNOT play in any jersey other than the league jersey designated for your team. c. Shin guards MUST be worn at all times. 2. Rules Clarifications a. Penalty Kicks – The team awarded the kick chooses 1 player to take the ball to the ½ way line. Upon the referee blowing the whistle, this player will have 5 seconds to score. If no goal is scored, a goal kick is awarded to the defending team (regardless of the outcome). b. Yellow Cards – If a player receives a yellow card, they must leave the field for 2 minutes. It does NOT matter how many goals the other team scores, the penalty is for 2 minutes total. c. Dissent – The referee has the FINAL WORD in ALL matters. Captains will be required to wear a black arm band, so that the referee can easily spot them. ONLY the captain is to address the referee. In turn, the referee will address the captain if there is a need to do so. IF a player, including the captain is dissenting or disrespectful to the referee a yellow card is fully sanctioned by our rules. We will NOT tolerate disrespect in our league. Remember, the referee is human. Just as we all make mistakes in our playing, they too are liable to miss a call or make the wrong one. That is fully acceptable by the league, and should be by each player as well. 3. Communication Most of you know Tom Dwiggins, our President. In the past, he has usually been the “catch all” for communication. We ask that you no longer do this. Barring any actual physical injury or illegal activity, the board members are simply your fellow players on game night. We want to enjoy playing as much as you do. If you have any suggestions, comments, complaints, etc., please e-mail them to us at: board@pensacolasoccer.com This will ensure that the entire board sees them right away. This is imperative, as we are governed by the entire board. If you do not have e-mail, you can call the league and leave a voice mail at 324-3289 or fill out a complaint form. (Forms will be available at all games, starting next week.) |
